Our hardware offers a sleek and modern design that blends into any retail or restaurant business. 

**A minimum monthly merchant processing fee of $89 will apply if total monthly fee collection is below this amount. Modisoft’s Starter Plan is only available to new accounts and contains a 2 year agreement that begins upon signing the contract. An early termination fee of $599 will apply if contract is terminated before the end of the term. Merchant services for all Food and Beverage Plans must be provided through Paycue. Restaurants located within a retail business do not qualify for either plan. New accounts and hardware purchases are subject to approval and availability.

FAQ

No. Modisoft software is tested and updated using our durable hardware options to ensure that we can always be hands-on and proactive in providing our clients with the best support possible.

Included in the Starter plan is a PAX A920 Handheld POS and payment device with a $0 monthly fee. We are able to offer this because the hardware and software costs have been included in your processing fee – which is still lower than most POS companies in the market.

Modisoft fees for restaurants are processed at 0.13% of your monthly volume + 7 cents per transaction. So why is the processing fee listed higher in the plan?

 

That’s because of the interchange fees that are added on by credit card issuers like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Modisoft is required to give a percentage of the transaction amount to the card issuer as dues and assessments.
