Job Summary

Technical Support provide operational support and customer service for Payment Processing Services and Point of Sale System. This includes coordination with the internal team and First data boarding and support personnel to successfully board merchants and install POS system and provide Technical Support.

Responsibilities and Duties

Candidate will be responsible for the efficient boarding of all new and existing Transaction Services customers and POS customers. Specialists are engaged with concerned teams at various levels of internal users, including Transaction Services Sales and Implementation teams to fully understand the requirements for each merchant. This position will also coordinate the resolution for any processing-related support issues.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Understanding of transnational services, merchant accounts and/or the credit card processing industry
  • Ability to solve problems, work in a team environment, and effectively communicate with all levels of stakeholders
  • 1-2 years Prior experience of the payment card industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Work Responsibilities:

  • Board new Merchants and setup their Terminals
  • Build and edit download files on devices
  • Ordering, Programming and shipping devices to merchants
  • Familiarity with procedures and functions for all supported terminals.
  • Answer inbound merchant calls professionally while providing prompt, accurate information
  • Provide support in resolving technology support issues.
  • Coordinate between Merchants/Modisoft and First data teams to provide swift resolution to process-related issues.
  • Follow up with new merchants to ensure their setup is completed properly and they utilize the services.
  • Setup POS and Configure payment devices for merchants.
  • Additional Responsibilities as assigned or requested by management.
